So this is where it all started. It's a complete 1968 Mustang Coupe with
some nice options, 289 V8, Power Steering, Front Disc Brakes and Factory Air.
The car had been repaired with quarter panel skins and the floor boards patched
in the early 80's. Due to leaky cowl vents the car had started to rust out
again and the previous owner started to take the dash and interior out to see if
it could be repaired from the inside. It appears the car was last driven
sometime in '85. Originally this was a gold car with black top that had
been repainted light yellow. It cleaned up pretty good, but I plan to
completely go through this and paint in Candy Apple Red with a black C-Stripe.
The Gold actually looks like it was a pretty nice combination, but this isn't
going to be a show car, just a fun driver and Candy Apple Red is fun!
